Annex Laboratories
Construction Sciences establishes purpose-built annex laboratories on or near major project sites to deliver NATA-compliant construction materials testing to support transport, civil and mining infrastructure projects. By locating close to project sites, annex labs support production schedules, reduce sample transport time, improve turnaround of results with immediate access to quality data.
A typical annex laboratory for a large project would consist of two purpose-fitted 40 foot demountable units or converted shipping containers placed parallel with an igloo shelter erected in between, to provide a high volume of testing capacity. For smaller projects, our annex laboratories can often feature a demountable building with an awning.
Remote Trailer Testing
For short-term and remote works, Construction Sciences deploys fully equipped mobile testing trailers to deliver NATA-compliant field and compaction testing directly on site.
Our remote trailer testing service supports road stabilisation, pavement upgrades, flood repairs and regional infrastructure projects, providing responsive testing capability in remote and geographically dispersed locations.
