Project Description:
Grand Trunkway Estate is a master planned industrial precinct positioned at the western edge of Adelaide’s Northern Economic Corridor. The estate spans approximately 21 hectares and located 18.5 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD, with B-double truck access and direct links to Outer Harbour, the Interstate Main Rail Line and the expressway network via the Port River Expressway. Allotments are zoned for general industry and suit a wide range of uses in this emerging key industry area. The East Grand Trunkway Stage (EGT) 2A/2B Development will include complex technical earthworks in a difficult geotechnical construction environment.
Our Role:
Construction Sciences Adelaide was engaged to deliver level one geotechnical supervision and construction materials testing across two major developments within the estate, including three access roads.
The EGT 2 package comprises more than 600 hours of Level One supervision and over 1,300 field density tests. This commission also marks our first major delivery with Bardavcol in South Australia, reflecting our local capability and trusted support for complex industrial subdivision works.
