Lismore Landslip Restoration Package

Client: CMC Hull JV, Holcim and O’Sullivan Group

Location: Lismore, New South Wales

Services: Construction Materials Testing

Construction Sciences Units:
Ballina Laboratory

Project Description:

The Lismore Landslip Restoration Package delivers permanent repairs to more than 60 complex landslips across the Lismore local government area, restoring critical road links and improving flood resilience in the wake of the devastating floods of early 2022. Works are being staggered across multiple years to reduce impacts on local communities and to maximise the use of a locally based workforce.

The package sits within a broader Flood Restoration Portfolio managed by Lismore City Council, one of the largest local government recovery programs ever delivered in Northern NSW. The works support long-term resilience of the region’s transport network and continued recovery for communities affected by the 2022 flood event.

Our Role:

Construction Sciences secured construction materials testing services across all three primary contracts on the Lismore Landslip Restoration Package. The package is managed by CMC Hull JV – a joint venture between Civil Mining and Construction and JF Hull Holdings. Construction Sciences also worked with Rutledge Drilling, O’Sullivan Group and Holcim.
