Project Description:
The Loganlea Station Relocation project will relocate and upgrade Loganlea station to better connect customers with nearby health, education, and community services.
The upgrade will improve accessibility and safety at the new station, with dual lifts on each platform, an elevated pedestrian connection over the rail line, conveniently located bus stops, kiss ‘n’ ride and park ‘n’ ride facilities, and better lighting and security features.
Our Role:
Construction Sciences is providing site assessment and construction materials testing for the station relocation and corridor widening.
Our Environmental team is managing investigation and advisory services where PFAS impacts have been identified in sections of the rail corridor, including delineation, sampling and analysis, waste classification support and construction-phase management measures for any latent conditions in previously unassessed areas. In parallel, our CMT specialists are supporting earthworks and structures with verification of subgrade and pavement layers, compaction control, aggregates and concrete testing, and on-call testing to maintain production schedules and quality requirements as bulk excavation progresses.
