Project Description:
This project required a replacement of two footbridges owned by the City of Gold Coast.
Our Role:
Construction Sciences completed geotechnical investigation and interpretative geotechnical reporting to inform the detailed design of two proposed footbridge replacements. Both assets were owned by the City of Gold Coast. The project involved drilling one borehole at each bridge abutment, to characterise the subsurface materials. Our geotechnical report provided the city with key geotechnical parameters, excavation conditions and earthworks recommendations.
