The Construction Sciences Environment team recently rolled up their sleeves to volunteer in a vital conservation project in Purga, planting native trees as part of the landmark Koala Habitat Restoration Program (KHRP). This hands-on involvement reflects our commitment to making a tangible impact on local environmental challenges.

Construction Sciences has added a compact Kanga drill, nicknamed Bluey, to our Environment fleet to support investigations in tight and regulated settings. The unit is configured for Queensland Rail electrified territory and includes a mechanical height limiter, which helps crews work within corridor rules while maintaining safe clearances.

The Construction Sciences Queensland Wheelchair Rugby League team has secured a memorable win in the 2025 NRL Wheelchair State Challenge, defeating New South Wales 48–36 in a thrilling showdown at Whitlam Leisure Centre, Liverpool.

Following a thrilling State of Origin victory for Queensland, the state’s elite athletes are preparing for another battle as the Construction Sciences Queensland Wheelchair Rugby League team faces New South Wales in the 2025 NRL Wheelchair State Challenge this Sunday, 13 July.
