Construction Sciences: 40 Years of Continuous Nata Accreditation

Construction Sciences celebrates 40 years of NATA-accredited testing, recognising the role accreditation plays in delivering reliable, consistent and technically sound results for Australia’s infrastructure sector. As a Kiwa company, we remain committed to quality, integrity and continuous improvement.

A strong commitment to prompt turnarounds of accurate test results and an increasing scope of testing services led to continuous expansion in regional Queensland and interstate through a follow-the-client, growth-oriented model.

Construction Sciences became Australia’s largest construction materials testing firm, with more than 50 NATA-accredited base and annex laboratories nationwide. The Brisbane South Laboratory is one of the largest CMT labs in Australia, providing geotechnical testing for soils, aggregates, and concrete, and conducting specialised foamed bitumen and concrete mix trials for design clients.

Construction Sciences, a Kiwa company, recognises that NATA’s independent accreditation of laboratories is an assurance of trust and integrity for clients and suppliers supporting Australia’s construction and engineering sectors. Kiwa, a global provider of Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC), understands the value of accreditation and reinforces a culture of quality and continuous improvement that has shaped our reputation as a trusted industry partner.

Accreditation underpins the quality and accuracy we deliver on every project. Construction Sciences’ technical training, equipment resources, laboratory information management software and quality reporting assure clients that results are reliable, consistent, and technically sound, enabling critical infrastructure decisions to be made with confidence.

Construction Sciences acknowledges and thanks NATA for its ongoing role in supporting quality, competence and confidence across Australia’s testing landscape.
