Kiwa Construction Sciences was proud to support Capalaba FC’s Pink Weekend, held 17-18 July, to help raise funds for men’s, women’s and children’s cancer charities.
Pink Weekend brings the whole club together with visiting clubs to raise money for cancer research, a cause that has affected almost every family in the community in some way.
This year, every jersey worn across the weekend carried the names of people affected by cancer. Those who have been lost, those currently fighting, and those who have overcome it. The names are not simply part of the design, they are the reason behind it. Each one tells a story of resilience, strength and hope, and together they represent the families, friendships and stories that sit at the heart of Pink Weekend.
