Construction Sciences is proud to continue as the naming rights partner of the Queensland Wheelchair Rugby League Maroons Squad for 2025, reaffirming our commitment to supporting inclusive sport and community impact.
As part of this renewed partnership, Construction Sciences Queensland Maroons will return to the national stage for the 2025 Wheelchair Rugby League State Challenge on Sunday July 13 at the Whitlam Centre in Sydney.
The Queensland Rugby League recently announced an extended 10-player squad, with the final eight to be confirmed closer to the event. The team includes experienced players and exciting emerging talent, all vying to represent Queensland at the highest level of the sport.
In preparation for the challenge, the team will gather for a Sunshine Coast training camp in May. The camp will focus on building cohesion, combinations, and competitive readiness for the interstate clash.
As principal sponsor, Construction Sciences is proud to support the growth and development of wheelchair rugby league across Queensland. In addition to funding training gear, equipment and player jerseys, our sponsorship helps drive:
• Pathways for players and volunteers
• Coach mentoring programs
• Community outreach and engagement initiatives
Managing Director Darren Rokesky said the renewed partnership reflects Construction Sciences’ long-term vision for building stronger, more inclusive communities.
“We’re proud to continue our support of Queensland Wheelchair Rugby League in 2025,” Mr Rokesky said.
“This partnership goes beyond the court — it’s about empowering athletes, creating opportunities, and raising awareness of the challenges faced by people living with disability.
“We look forward to cheering on the Construction Sciences Maroons in Sydney and contributing to the continued growth of this powerful and inspiring sport.”
